Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have been an irresistible force all season and it was inevitable that they would win the Premier League but it was also pretty safe to assume they'd go on to break some big records.

There's not many teams who have managed to stop City from scoring this season, it's why they're so far ahead of everyone else, and when Huddersfield did it last weekend it was a pretty big surprise.

Check out our list of football's most memorable moments:

That result also meant that City didn't break Chelsea's record from 2009/10 of the most goals scored in a Premier League season. Back then the Blues managed to knock in 103 goals.

But City still had two games to spare starting with Wednesday night's final home game of the season against Brighton.

In the first half Danilo gave the Citizens the lead, a surprise scorer considering Gabriel Jesus, Leroy Sane, Bernardo Silva and Yaya Toure were on the pitch. Brighton did equalise through Ulloa but before half time City were back in front.

Silva's goal on the 35th minute gave City a 2-1 lead and meant they'd scored 104 goals, capping their already brilliant season with a really impressive record that will be tough to break. 104 goals in a season, that's some going.

City will also add the points record if they hold on to win tonight. Currently that record also belongs to Chelsea, although not the same team that scored all of the goals.

It was Jose Mourinho's first season in England when he won the Premier League with an incredible 95 points but City holding on for three points would mean that they go to 97 points with a chance against Southampton to go to 100 points on the last day of the season.

City have scored five goals or more on six occasions so far this season including a 5-0 hammering of Liverpool and a 7-2 victory over Stoke City as they have walked the league.

Will anyone beat their total of goals?
