Lionel Messi seems to break records every time he steps onto a football pitch but he's reached another huge milestone tonight.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner bagged a free-kick in a 3-1 win over Olympiakos at the Nou Camp, and reached 100 European goals in the process.

The strike, while not up there with the best set-pieces the Argentine ace has served up over the years, is a very memorable one for Messi as it is his 50th in 2017, and sees him reach the 100 club in Europe in just 122 games.

Messi is now only the second player to reach the tally, with his long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo currently on 113 on UEFA competitions.
He has still got another record in his sights, however, as he is three away from reaching 100 goals in the Champions League, a trophy he has won four times.
Here's how Twitter reacted to Messi hitting his 100th goal in European competitions:
He's just different gravy...
