Kylian Mbappe's pace stats against Lille on Saturday are genuinely incredible.

The 18-year old sensation ran at a frighteningly quick pace in the 93rd minute of the game to seal a win for PSG, and as per freelance journalist Robin Bairner, ran at a ridiculous peak speed of 44.7 kmph to score the goal - with his average speed not far off Usain Bolt levels of quickness.

A fair amount of people in the replies are having none of it, but when you see just how quickly Mbappe ran from his own half to the other end of the pitch, it's not out of the realms of possibility to see him record such running stats.

The score was 2-1 in stoppage time when Lille sent their goalkeeper up for a corner. PSG broke swiftly and fed Mbappe on the counter, the Frenchman turned on the jets and did his best Usain Bolt impression.

It's utterly outrageous. Three defenders are chasing him, with one even trying to hack him down, but he darts towards goal at the speed of light before slotting into the empty net.

The 18-year old, who became the youngest ever player to make the Ballon d'Or top ten when he came in at seventh when the shortlist was announced on Thursday, has now been involved in 34 goals in Ligue One since 2016/17 - 21 goals and 13 assists.

Here's how Twitter reacted to his blistering pace:
