Pure filth from the Chelsea man.

The Premier League season is well and truly over but Kurt Zouma's insatiable appetite for ruining opponents is definitely still alive and kicking.

The Chelsea defender is currently away with the French national side ahead of a friendly with Paraguay and a crucial World Cup qualifier against Sweden, and he's been joined by his pal from Arsenal, Laurent Koscielny.

Both are centre-backs, and both make a living out of stopping strikers in their tracks, but Zouma is apparently trying to make a name for himself as an attacker.

The 22-year-old has struggled with knee injuries in recent years but he showed no signs of wear and tear as he absolutely ripped Koscielny a new one during training earlier today.

If Diego Costa does indeed head for pastures new this summer, it appears Antonio Conte already has a ready-made replacement in Zouma.

Who knew that he had that in his locker?!

That filthy piece of skill and finish has us reacting like this:

Zouma's middle name

If his wondrous piece of play, wasn't enough, you'll love the 22-year old defender even more when you find out the story behind his name.

Back in March, ahead of the clash between Chelsea and Manchester United in the FA Cup, FA TV caught up with the French powerhouse to discuss a number of topics.

And he revealed just how he got his first and middle names, with it all stemming from his parents watching a Jean-Claude Van Damme film.

"My parents were watching a film and it starred Jean-Claude Van Damme, the actor." he said.

"He was killing everyone in the movie and at the end of the movie, they saw that his name was Kurt. They said, okay we'll call this kid Kurt and we'll put Happy (as his middle name) because he will always be happy."

What a bloke Kurt Zouma is.

At this point, it's still unclear as to whether the Saint-Etienne youth product will be at Stamford Bridge for next year.

He has been linked with a potential return to France, with Zouma possibly heading to Lyon as part of a deal for Chelsea to land midfielder Corentin Tolisso, who has emerged as a key target.
