Neymar Responds To DeAndre Yedlin's Viral Reaction To Referee After Foul

The Brazil forward came under some stick once again for his diving in a game against USA but he's hit back in savage fashion.

A rivalry between DeAndre Yedlin and Neymar on the pitch was surely only ever going to be won by the Brazil forward and it seems like the PSG man has won the war of words on the pitch too.

Neymar had a pretty torrid time at the World Cup. His form wasn't great, Brazil were knocked out by Belgium at the quarter final stage he found himself lying on the floor rolling around more often than not. It led to a lot of criticism.

Some of the sniping was a bit harsh considering he was always the target of rough tactics by defences but he definitely didn't help himself.

Last night the PSG forward was back in national colours for the first time since the Belgium game in a friendly against USA and he found himself at the centre of another diving controversy.

DeAndre Yedlin was adjudged to foul Neymar and his response was to claim the 26 year old had dived, asking the ref 'Did you watch the World Cup?'

But the Newcastle United full back wasn't let off the hook for his shenanigans with Neymar hitting back after the match and saying to media, "Unfortunately I don't have much to say. Just to be sorry for him. He's some kind of player who... I don't know him and I have no reason to be worried about it."

Neymar certainly got all the laughs considering that Brazil won 2-0 and the former Barcelona man was on the scoresheet from the penalty spot.

Yedlin has actually scored for Newcastle this season but if you're going to come at Neymar then you'll have to be a very good player or be aware it might end badly for you.

Neymar pretends to cry.
Neymar pretends to cry.

After all earlier this season he mocked fans who attempted to mock him by calling him a crybaby. The forward responded by running up to a banner calling him that and pretending to cry, as celebration for his goal.

He might not be everyone's cup of tea but he knows how to respond to criticism and you've got to respect that.
