Cristiano Ronaldo's Nations League Win Adds To Incredible CV

The Juventus forward has won pretty much everything in the game and is just missing the World Cup, don't bet against him.

Cristiano Ronaldo helped Portugal win the UEFA Nations League on Sunday night and the win adds to the incredible list of achievements for the forward.

For once it wasn't Cristiano Ronaldo who made the headlines on Sunday as Goncalo Guedes scored the winner for Portugal against Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League final, to win the first tournament.

However the Portugal captain was instrumental in his country's second international success in three years, following their unexpected with at Euro 2016, and it made his list of achievements look even better.

The 34 year old started playing for Sporting in 2002 and since then he's amassed a ridiculous amount of individual awards and team trophies, including five Champions League:

On top of all those trophies he's also a joint record five Ballon d'Ors, four European Golden Shoes, three UEFA Best Player in Europe awards, two FIFA The Best Men's Player awards, Puskas award and been in 12 FIFpro World XIs and many other awards on to too.

Weirdly it was the second time in an international success that he's played little part in the final. He couldn't get going in the billed 'Ronaldo vs Van Dijk' final and he was injured early in the 2016 final against France.

The former Real Madrid forward had scored a hat-trick in the semifinal against Switzerland, including a brilliant free kick, on Wednesday to secure their final birth.

It has been a slightly underwhelming season for Ronaldo, which tells you more about his usual high standards, in his first year in Italy.

He was bought by Juventus to end their 23 year run without a Champions League but they lost to Ajax in the quarter finals, despite scoring in both legs.

Juve did win Serie A for the eighth time in a row, but the Old Lady didn't win the domestic double and he ended fourth in the top scorers rankings with 'just' 21 goals.

But once again the former Manchester United forward has proved that he is an incredible serial winner with another league title and a second trophy with the national team.

He might be 34 but Ronaldo shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon and there's no limit to just how many trophies he can win.

What a player!
