Aston Villa youngster Andre Green proved how much of a LAD he is by surprising his grandad on his birthday.

The 19-year old, who came from the youth ranks at Villa Park, has made six appearances this season, scoring once.

An England youth international, Green clearly hasn't been getting carried away after breaking into the Villa first-team.

He posted on Twitter earlier today, sharing a heartwarming message and gesture he produced for his grandad.

Explaining how his grandad has never missed a game of his since he got into football, he went out and bought him his dream car for his birthday as a way of thanking him for all he has done for him - even though he still feels he could never repay him.

A brilliant gesture, and one that clearly meant a lot. Often you hear a lot of negativity regarding young players and there's a lot said about them thinking they're 'billy big bollocks' but here you have Andre Green, as humble and grounded as they come.

Take a bow, son.
