After victory over Swansea City tonight, Manchester City have now won 15 games in a row in the Premier League, breaking another record in the process.

A double from David Silva and goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero gave City a comfortable 4-0 win against the league's bottom side, and took their Premier League goals tally to 52 for the season.

And in winning 15 in the row, an amazing stat about City boss Pep Guardiola has come about. He now holds the record for the longest winning streak in La Liga, Bundesliga and Manchester City.

Pep's Bayern won 19 games on the trot in 2013/14, his Barca side claimed 16 straight victories and now his City slickers have recorded 15 wins in succession.

There was of course a period of adaptation last season, but Guardiola now has his City side playing the finest football the league has ever seen - and they have had the best ever start to a season in top-flight history after accruing 49 points from 17 games.

City are 11 points clear at the top of the table and are really looking the absolute business. Not bad for a fraud, Pep.
