Arsenal and Manchester United meet in the Premier League on Wednesday and the two rivals are having very differing seasons. One stat might prove evidence why Arsenal are so much better than United.
Once upon a time the two best teams in the Premier League were Manchester United and Arsenal. The two had an epic and intense rivalry that has been pretty much unmatched since the Gunners' stopped winning titles in 2004.
Since 2004 Arsenal haven't managed to win the title, despite that last win being the Invincibles season, and certainly became worse under Arsene Wenger in the next 14 years.
United stayed near the top of the pile until 2013 and won five more titles after their former heated rivals stopped winning them. Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired they haven't got their hands on the title again.

Now Wenger's left and Unai Emery has come in and this season the Gunners have overtaken the Red Devils and ahead of their meeting tonight sit fourth in the league, eight points clear of Jose Mourinho's side.
There isn't exactly just one thing that's gone wrong at Old Trafford this season but one stat is pretty damning. United have covered 938 miles this season whereas Arsenal have covered 1003.
Emery's side are top of the charts in the Premier League, when it comes to distance run, but Mourinho's team are fifth bottom with their poor return.

The United boss has questioned the work rate of his players on several occasions and claimed they weren't dogs after the 2-2 draw against Crystal palace.
The stat is damning evidence that he might well be spot on, although he would surely have to take some blame as clearly the 13 times Premier League winners don't have the pressing tactics that several top sides do.
Arsenal's form, spurred on by their win against Tottenham at the weekend, suggests that they will beat United at Old Trafford on Wednesday however fans will be quick to temper expectations. The north London team don't have great form against United.

Will Arsenal further the gap on their rivals in stats and on the league or can United start the shoots of a recovery?
