The last time Paul Pogba spoke to the press after a Manchester United game the World Cup winning midfielder ended up in a lot of trouble with his manager. So it's no wonder he didn't want to speak after the loss to West Ham.
Problems between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba had been bubbling away under the surface following the latter's World Cup win in France was followed by his club manager questioning if he could perform with United.
Their relationship became totally strained the other week though when, after the draw to Wolves, in which Pogba gave the ball away for the away side's equaliser, Pogba criticised the way the team played saying, "We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves. When we are at home we should attack, attack, attack.

"That's Old Trafford. We are here to attack. I think teams are scared when they see Man United attacking and attacking. That was our mistake today."
That was clearly seen by the manager at a dig to him and the fallout was Pogba being stripped of the 'second' captaincy and then reports of a real training ground bust up.
Following the weekend loss to West Ham Pogba was asked about the team's performance and he simply answered saying, "You want me dead?"
It very much seems like Pogba is worried that he'd be absolutely buried by Mourinho if he were to open his mouth once again.

The former Juventus midfielder has also come under criticism from former Manchester United players and pundits alike as he and his teammates struggle for any sort of form this season.
The 25 year old seemed to start the season well, he was given the captains armband to start the term and scored in the opening two games.
Luke Shaw was willing to talk about his side's performance on Saturday saying, "We didn't look like a team today that was going to beat West Ham. Individually and as a team we were awful. From the first minute you could see we weren't winning the second balls and our duels."

The clear difference is that the England left-back, whose career has seen a resurgence this season, was criticising how he and the other players played, rathan than the system or mindset of the side.
Pogba and Mourinho's relationship is only likely to get worse from here, but the Frenchman won't be dousing the flames with fuel.
