Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of his first loss as Manchester United manager in the Champions League defeat to PSG on Wednesday night. Clearly Sadio Mane was at home enjoying the game like most Liverpool fans.

Manchester United went 11 games undefeated at the beginning of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's reign as interim manager of the club, with only one draw in that time, but against PSG on Wednesday night that came to an abrupt end.

Only the recent run of results under the man who replaced Jose Mourinho and injuries to Neymar and Edinson Cavani had left anyone thinking the Red Devils had any chance of winning.

After United lost Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial to injuries after 45 minutes the game turned very much in PSG's favour after half time and Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe scored the goals that gave them the 2-0 win.

To add salt into the wounds of those in red at Old Trafford Paul Pogba was given his marching orders late on for a second yellow card and will miss the second leg in Paris in three weeks time.

If some in red in the north west of England weren't enjoying life then some others were loving it, as Sadio Mane proved on Instagram:

The sight of both Martial and Lingard will come as an added bonus for Liverpool fans and players with the two sides to play a pivotal league game this month.

The two sides will meet at Old Trafford on February 24th which is Liverpool's game in hand against Manchester City, who face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on the same day.

One other former Liverpool player was also happy, but Mario Balotelli will be in United's corner in 12 days time:

Will Mane still be smiling at the end of the month?
