Marco Ianni's celebrations in front of Jose Mourinho, after Chelsea's equaliser against Manchester United, caused quite the controversy and now Phil Neville wants to see the Blues' coach sacked for it.

Who'd have actually thought for two Premier League weekends in a row Manchester United would have been involved in the most thrilling games of those weeks as they followed up their dramatic win against Newcastle with a draw with Chelsea.

United's turnaround in the second half was once again brilliant, surprising and no doubt frustrating to fans who can't work out why it needs their team to go behind till they start entertaining.

Unfortunately for the Red Devils they couldn't hold on to the lead Anthony Martial had given them as Ross Barkley scored a last minute equaliser. That kicked off scenes of jubilation in the Chelsea dugout that nearly turned into a fight.

Chelsea coach Marco Ianni made sure Jose Mourinho saw his celebration on the way past the United boss and again as he returned to the Blues' technical area, sparking Mourinho out of his seat.

Speaking to NBC Sports Phil Neville revealed he thinks that Ianni should be sacked, saying:

"Whoever that staff member is of Chelsea has just been an absolute disgrace. No class, no humility.

"He's gone straight into the face of Jose Mourinho, Michael Carrick and the Manchester United bench and just celebrated in their face. Absolutely disgraceful.

"He's [Mourinho] the innocent one in all this. The guy on the Chelsea bench has run straight past him, celebrated in his face.

"Sarri celebrates. Then it's this guy here who goes in front of Jose Mourinho. The first one he clenches his fist, and then as he goes back he celebrates again right in front of him. Disgraceful.

"If I was Maurizio Sarri I'd send that guy in and sack him from the club."

Sure Phil the whole thing was a little ugly and, despite what Richard Keys and Garth Crooks have had to say on the matter, it was Mourinho who was wronged on this occasion but over celebrating and being a dick is hardly a sackable offence.

If Ianni's celebration was a sackable offence then Jose would have lost all his previous jobs a lot quicker than he actually did.

Mourinho confirmed that Sarri apologised to him and that he'd accepted said apology so we should probably just move on from the whole affair now and who knows maybe United can keep up this new trend of having interesting football matches.
