Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't take defeat particularly well and when it's as big a match as last weekend's Clasico that's doubled. The Real Madrid superstar has blamed two other players for the loss.

Last week was a bit of an up and down week for Ronaldo as the Real Madrid star scored a hat-trick in the Champions League quarter final second leg with Bayern Munich to send Real through and be the first player to reach 100 Champions League goals.

That set him up nicely for El Clasico on Sunday night. A win for Los Blancos would have put them six points clear of their fierce rivals with a game in hand and likely to be crowned champions.

Instead it was Lionel Messi capturing the headlines with a brace to bring up his 500th goal for Barcelona and scoring a last minute equaliser to put Barca level on points with Real, a literal six pointer.

Ronaldo was seen not to be very happy with Messi's winner, obviously, and the former Manchester United winger had two teammates in his sites. According to Spanish paper Marca Ronaldo blamed both Marcelo and Luka Modric for the loss.

Many fans watching on took to Twitter to bemoan Marcelo's decision not to bring down Sergi Roberto, who made a rampaging run to set up the goal, in the build up to Messi's second.

And Ronaldo could be seen questioning the left back's inability to pull off the foul asking why he didn't bring down Roberto.

Modric also had a chance to bring the Barca midfielder turned right back down in the lead up to the winning goal, scored with virtually the last kick of the game.

The two experienced players won't be happy to hear that their teammate has blamed them but Marcelo did take the blame himself for not bringing his opponent down saying, "I take the blame for the last goal but it can happen to anyone."

Ronaldo, Marcelo, Modric et al could still come to regret that huge goal.
