Liverpool's first game in the Champions League since 2014 ended in a draw, but the five-time winners had the perfect chance to extend their lead from the spot. Though Roberto Firmino missed the penalty with his actions at full-time the talk of social media.
The visitors opened the scoring inside five minutes courtesy of shocking defending from Dejan Lovren. But Firmino and Mohamed Salah netted in the first half to give Liverpool the lead heading into the break.
And Liverpool's No.9 was given the opportunity to all but seal the three points from the spot. However, he fluffed his lines with the player clearly distraught who shed a tear following the full-time whistle.

While the Anfield faithfuls were disappointed with the result and ultimately at Firmino for smashing the woodwork, their supporters appreciated 'Bobby's' passion:
Firmino and Co. are back in action on Saturday as they entertain Burnley, with the club hoping to bounce back from the midweek game as well as the thumping to the hands of Manchester City, last weekend.
