Chelsea Fans Won't Be Happy With Tammy Abraham's Loan Clause

Chelsea Fans Won't Be Happy With Tammy Abraham's Loan Clause

The Chelsea striker is enjoying life at Swansea City, especially after his brace against Huddersfield Town at the weekend.

Tammy Abraham is having a jolly old time of things away from Stamford Bridge at the moment. Some Chelsea fans would no doubt rather he was scoring for them but there's some bad news.

On the weekend Chelsea fans were somewhat damning their club's loaning policy as young English striker Tammy Abraham bagged two goals for loan club Swansea City whilst Michy Batshuayi was struggling as Chelsea lost to bottom of the table Crystal Palace.

It led to many wondering if they weren't better off with Abraham still being at the club:

Well Chelsea fans...

Because according to the Evening Standard the was only one call-back clause added on the 20 year-old's loan deal to Swansea and it was based on him not getting enough games.

And with 10 appearances already to his name, in all competitions, the newspaper say that he is already closing in on the number of games he needed to have played to stop being recalled.

With two months and lots of football still to play it seems there's little chance that the former Bristol City loanee will be going back to Stamford Bridge this season.

Abraham has already scored five goals this season and is rated by Antonio Conte but the Italian will be left needing to sign another striker if he wants to strengthen his options behind Alvaro Morata in January.

Sorry Chelsea fans!
