Arriving on the Fulham scene with a bang, 17-year-old Ryan Sessegnon has left pundits and fans questioning whether the call up to England for the world cup is a real possibility.

He made his debut for Fulham in 2016 making 25 appearances in the calendar season and finding the back of the net 5 times.

The 2017-18 season has seen Sessegnon appear in every single Fulham league game and snatch the top goal scorer spot (16) from team mate Aleksander Mitrovic (12).

The young guns fine form has now posed him as a potential World Cup wildcard for England, but might it be a bit too soon?

Yet to make an appearance for the national 1st team, most fans believe putting such pressure on him so young could ruin his potential.

Sessegnon helped England U19 to their 2017 European Championship victory scoring two goals in their final group stage game against Germany U19 finishing 4-1.

He then went on to start in their final two fixtures against Czech Republic (1-0 win) and Portugal (2-1 win).

Sessegnon's latest performance on Monday night saw him initiate a Fulham comeback from a first leg 1 goal deficit against Derby in the Championship play-offs semi-final.

The final will be played at Wembley on the 26th May 2018 giving Sessegnon chance to prove his worth on a big stage.

Gareth Southgate is said to be releasing the 23-man England squad later this week, leaving him with a big decision to make over the young winger's attendance.

Let us know what you think? Too soon, or too good to say no?
