People Are Still Trying To Work Out How Mo Salah Scored This Goal

People Are Still Trying To Work Out How Mo Salah Scored This Goal

The Liverpool forward only had five Watford defenders and the goalkeeper to beat for his third goal of the day.

Has anyone tested Mo Salah for performance enhancing drugs or look into the possibility that he might be a wizard of some sort? Whatever it was he seemed to defy reality to score his third goal against Watford yesterday.

I'm starting to run out of superlatives for Mo Salah and after yesterday's performance it's becoming even more difficult. The Egyptian was in fine form against Watford, scoring four times and setting up one as Liverpool ran riot in a 5-0 win.

Salah would no doubt score all of these strikes:

It was the kind of performance that took Salah from being in the conversation with Kevin de Bruyne about who would win Player of the Year to being the conversation almost on his own.

The four goals took him above Harry Kane in the fight to be the top goalscorer in the Premier League this season with the Spurs forward having to sit out the next couple of weeks at least with injury.

The former Roma forward's highlight reel from the match is something special but perhaps nothing is as good as the trickery for his hat-trick goal and people still can't work out how he scored considering he had five Watford defenders and the keeper to beat:

Salah's four goals last night took him to 28 for the season and everyone had to remind themselves that the Egyptian cost the Reds just £34 million in the summer, they paid more for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Liverpool still have a battle on their hands to finish in the top four but if the former Basel player can keep up this form then there's no doubt they'll qualify for the Champions League next season, he will also be the key to getting past Manchester City in the Champions League.

Can the Reds keep hold of him for next season though?
