Paul Pogba Scores Free Kick And Sets Up Kylian Mbappe In France Game

Manchester United fans are feeling a mixture of emotions as their underperforming midfielder proves what he can really do.

Paul Pogba performing well will either go down really well or really badly with Manchester United fans desperate to see him do it in a red shirt. Tonight the Frenchman has been on form for his national side.

The biggest mystery in the Premier League right now is how Paul Pogba has gone from one of the best midfielders in the world to an understudy for Scott McTominay, and not a great one at that.

Whilst the young Scottish midfielder has done pretty well for United in recent times he's hardly a world class midfielder but Pogba's fitness and form have seen him reduced to the role of substitute at Old Trafford.

However in typical fashion he was back in the starting line up for France against Russia tonight and to add to the frustration of Red Devils' fans he set up Kylian Mbappe for the side's first before scoring their second from a free-kick.

The confidence boost is timely for his club side but no doubt fans are frustrated that the club aren't getting the best out of him, as France's 4-3-3 apparently has tonight:

Will Pogba go down as a United flop or can he turn it around?

United fans and Pogba will be looking forward to seeing the former Juventus player back on the bench or playing in a defensive role for the game against Swansea on Saturday afternoon...
