Just days after playing their final Bundesliga game of the season, the ever-ambitious Borussia Dortmund are making huge waves in the transfer window, completing deals for three players in the space of 24 hours.

Lucien Favre's side secured the signature of Hoffenheim defender Nico Schulz for a reported €27 million on Tuesday.

He became the club's second most expensive signing after penning a five year deal.

"We will benefit greatly from his physicality, his tempo and his extreme dynamism," Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said. "A player like him with his fighting spirit and his desire to be successful would help any team."

Then, just a day later, Dortmund announced the arrival of Thorgan Hazard from Borussia Monchengladbach on another five-year deal.

Hazard's transfer fee has yet to be disclosed, but reports suggest it could be anywhere from €25 million to €40 million, a great deal considering he bagged 13 goals in 35 games last season under the management of Dieter Hecking.

"He's an experienced Bundesliga and Belgium national player who'll help us with his pace and shooting ability. He has consistently proven his class in recent years." said Zorc earlier.

Then to complete the triple swoop, the club have announced perhaps their biggest signing to date.

On Wednesday afternoon, Dortmund confirmed the arrival of highly-rated winger Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen on a five-year deal, with a medical reportedly planned for later this week.

It is believed the club have activated the €25 million release clause in his contract and well, they've got a real player on their hands.

Brandt created more chances in the Bundesliga last season that any other player, as well as scoring 11 goals in all competitions.

The thought of him, Sancho and Thorgan Hazard leading the line will strike fear into any opponent.
