Antoine Griezmann has been heavily linked with a move away for several years now, but it finally seems as though the Frenchman may leave Madrid this summer.

It has been reported that the World Cup winner has been unsettled in the capital, and with the news that teammate Lucas Hernandez will join Bayern Munich in the summer, further speculation has been added around a potential deal.

The Atleti striker has been linked with numerous clubs over the years, attracting the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Griezmann linking up with French teammates Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial in Manchester was heavily rumoured at one point, but it seems as though things may take a different turn this summer.

Former Paris Saint-Germain winger Jerome Rothen believes the 28-year-old will be playing for Barcelona next season:

"I can tell from a reliable source, Antoine Griezmann will go to FC Barcelona next summer," stated Rothen to a RMC Sport Programme.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Barcelona made a new approach for the striker.

Griezmann was subject to intense transfer speculation last summer but ultimately penned a new deal at Atletico Madrid.

However, reports claim the 27-year-old has started to regret his decision to turn down a transfer to Camp Nou.

He's now hoping to seal a switch at the end of the season with the Catalan giants set to table an offer when the summer transfer window reopens, per French outlet L'Équipe via Get French Football News.
