Serie A side Sassuolo Calcio might just have the most unique stadium in world football.

That's because you can genuinely catch a fish if you're a fan visiting The Mapei Stadium, Italy, and a couple of fans decided to try their luck during Chievo's visit to Emilia Romagna.

In a clip that has since gone viral, you can clearly see a supporter reeling in a decent size golden fish as the game is played out in front of them.

The moat was built in 1995 to reportedly stop fans from invading the pitch, but the club probably didn't predict a scenario where fans to bring their own rod to try and catch fish.

"At the Mapei Stadium, if the show is boring, you can spend your time cultivating the hobby of fishing," said this Twitter user, who posted the video on Twitter.

Fans celebrated the catch as Sassuolo eventually picked up an impressive 4-0 win over bottom place Chievo, who have picked up just one win in 31 games.

Merih Demiral scored a brace in the dominant victory, while Domenico Berardi and on loan AC Milan midfielder Manuel Locatelli also bagged in the 4-0 win.

Is this one of the most unique stadiums in world football?
