Luis Suarez Destroys Lyon’s Marcelo Guedes Without Even Touching The Ball

Genius.

Luis Suarez reminded everyone across Europe exactly what he's capable of tonight by conjuring up a ridiculous piece of skill against Lyon.

The Uruguayan striker has endured something of an up-and-down campaign this season, with his form fluctuating from one week to the next.

And despite having 22 goals to his name since August, the former Liverpool man will know he should've found the net more often.

Given he's now 32, some pundits could be forgiven for pondering whether or not Suarez is still the mercurial talent he was in the Premier League.

But tonight he showed there's absolutely nothing wrong with his confidence, as he outsmarted Lyon midfielder Marcelo Guedes:

Marcelo has been a mainstay in Lyon's slick side this season, has been linked with a move to the Premier League with West Ham, but he'll be hoping there weren't many scouts watching him tonight.

Away from the skill, Barcelona went through to the quarter finals thanks to a cheeky Panenka penalty from Lionel Messi and a rare goal from Philippe Coutinho, who has struggled for the majority of this season.

If you missed it, Messi's penalty was an absolute delight. Have you seen a more casual spot-kick in your life?

Do you think Suarez is still one of the best strikers in the world?
