Marcelo Bielsa's Post Match Interview Is Just Full Of Really Awkward Moments

Leeds United's title push took a huge hit on Saturday afternoon when promotion contenders Sheffield United walked away with all three points at Elland Road.

Chris Basham's 71st minute winner was the turning point for The Blades, who managed to see out the game with relative ease.

Marcelo Bielsa's side, on the other hand, struggled to convert a host of chances as they drop down to third in the table, five points behind leaders Norwich City.

It was dubbed the biggest game of the Championship season before kick-off, and the importance of the game was apparent in Bielsa's awkward post-match interview.

Clearly frustrated with his teams performance, the 63-year-old, accompanied by his translator, was far from descriptive in his answers.

When asked why his side weren't able to make a breakthrough in the game, Bielsa asked Sky Sports reporter Jonathan Oates: "Do you think that we deserved to win?"

The rest is just a tad awkward. "Are you interrupting the interview?"

To think, the day started so well for Bielsa, who was spotted giving out a load of sweets to fans who waited to greet the players on this freezing cold day in March.

The former Athletic Bilbao manager was the last to leave the team bus ahead of the 12:30 kick-off at Elland Road and to the surprise of many young supporters, the Argentinian went to his pocket and handed out the sugary goods.

Can Leeds claw back some points and achieve promotion to the Premier League?
