England's Ellen White has been a revelation at this summer's Women's World Cup.

The 30-year-old is currently the joint top scorer with five goals, and sits alongside American duo Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe in the standings.

She has netted on average every 67 minutes against the likes of Norway, Cameroon and Japan.

If she carries on her incredible goalscoring form then Phil Neville's side have a real chance in the competition.

And if England do lift the World Cup on the 7th July, then White will become an 'instant millionaire', according to The Daily Mail.

It is reported that Adidas will match the bonuses paid to France's 2018 World Cup-winning team.

That means White, who currently earns £60,000 a year, and teammate Millie Bright are on course to be overnight millionaires

Not only that but if the Manchester City forward nets the Golden Boot award this summer, Adidas will also give out the same prize money as they did when Harry Kane brought home the trophy last summer for England.

The report also claims that England players will receive a bonus 'of around £50,000 from the FA' if they lift the World Cup next month.

But they will have to get past tournament favourites USA on Tuesday night if they are to reach the final.

USA striker Megan Rapinoe, who has also been a revelation for her team with five goals, thinks the game against England will be a 'huge task':

"We face a very good English side, who have some good players." she said after Friday's win against France via BBC Sport.

"They are one of the big girls of the game. They strolled through their quarter-final and had an extra day, so have got some rest in their legs.

"We'll enjoy this tonight. All eyes towards England tomorrow."

Do you think England can overcome the Americans and secure a historic World Cup win?
