Alvaro Morata Does Something Very Stupid In The 92nd Minute, Chelsea Fans React

Is Alvaro Morata a lucky boy to escape a suspension following his idiotic actions against Crystal Palace, yesterday?

Chelsea entertained Roy Hodgson's lot, and the hosts picked up all three points courtesy of a 2-1 victory. Goals from Willian and a Martin Kelly own-goal ensured the home win.

But one of the main talking points surrounded summer signing Morata.

The Spaniard was restricted to a role off the bench after Olivier Giroud spearheaded Chelsea's attack. He eventually entered the fray in the 72nd minute, replacing the Frenchman.

Though Morata failed to make an impression. Unless you're the linesman from the Premier League fixture.

Morata, who was already on a caution, joined in with Davide Zappacosta to shield the ball in the corner - they were unsuccessful.

A goal-kick was awarded which prompted a bizarre stand-off with the 'lino'.

Morata was furious with the decision and appeared to slap the flag out of his hand.

Fortunately for Morata, he wasn't punished. But should he have received a second booking?

Naturally, the incident got Chelsea fans talking. Even comparing him to Diego Costa for his growing yellow-card tally.
