Arjen Robben Has Cut Inside His Entire Career, Even When There's An Open Goal

Eat, sleep, cut inside, repeat.

A handful of footballers have a 'trademark' skill move in their armoury.

Cristiano Ronaldo brings out the 'Ronaldo Chop' trick from time to time, while former Brazilian 'wonderkid' Kerlon made a name for himself by flicking the ball in the air and balancing the ball on his head like a Seal.

But nobody, and I mean nobody, comes close to using a skill move more than Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben

The 34-year-old pulls out the simple but effective 'cut inside' on an almost weekly basis.

In fact, Robben decides to use it when there's an open goal right in front of him, something we absolutely adore about the former Chelsea winger.

He's predictable in the sense that you know what he's going to do next, but at the same time he is almost unstoppable to defend against.

In his club's 1-1 draw against FC Augsburg last year, the Dutchman managed to open the scoring with the most Arjen Robben goal of all time.

Rather than knock in a simple tap in from 12 yards, the Bayern man cut inside on his trusty left boot.

He managed to knock it in, though, despite three defenders in his way.

Munich went on to drop two points thanks to a goal from Felix Gotze in the 86th minute but this moment is by far the more memorable.

The Robben 'cut inside' is so effective, even in 2019.
