Luis Suarez Has Really Struggled Since Laughing In The Face Of Andrew Robertson

Luis Suarez Has Really Struggled Since Laughing In The Face Of Andrew Robertson

It didn't get any better last night.

Since Luis Suarez laughed in the face of Andrew Robertson, things have been far from smooth sailing for the 32-year-old.

Back in May, the Barcelona forward planted a double kick on the left back and as a result, the Scot was unable to carry on at the Nou Camp.

It was the start of a devastating night for Liverpool.

He also laughed in Robertson's face after Lionel Messi bagged one of the all-time great Champions League free-kicks, but the Liverpool defender had the last laugh.

Following a dramatic comeback at Anfield, the 25-year-old spoke to Des Kelly after the full-time whistle and he gave a savage response.

"Yeah but who's going to the final?"

Liverpool went on to lift the Champions League after overcoming Spurs in the final and Suarez has struggled ever since.

The 32-year-old has gone on to lose the Copa del Rey final against Valencia and was the only player to miss his penalty for Uruguay in the Copa America.

Suarez was actually in tears after Saturday night's defeat to Peru and some Liverpool fans couldn't help but comment on his situation.

Suarez will want to forget the last few months of football in a hurry, that's for sure.
