Well that didn't take long.

Wolves forward Raúl Jiménez has become the first player to dribble past Harry Maguire in a Manchester United shirt.

The Mexican breezed past United's new number five with a silky piece of skill during Monday night's Premier League clash at Molinuex.

Fans immediately compared his stats to Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, who currently maintains an impressive 68 game streak of not being dribbled past.

Despite being beaten by Gabriel Jesus in the Community Shield earlier this month, a spokesperson from the FA told talkSPORT that the match was considered a 'second grade' game and therefore stats don't count.

The FA declassified the 'season curtain raiser' five years ago, which means that goals, assists and cards in the match at Wembley don't count towards van Dijk's record.

In terms of Monday's game, Manchester United looked comfortable in large spells of the first half and in the 17th minute, Solskjaer's men had their first real chance of the game.

Marcus Rashford sent in a low cross from the left but Anthony Martial couldn't get a touch and it went out for a goal kick.

Ten minutes later though, the Frenchman managed to make up for his miss by slotting past Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

Wolves came out of the blocks a completely different animal in the second half and Raúl Jiménez almost made it 1-1 with a glancing header.

Then minutes later, his teammate Neves equalised with an outrageous effort from range.

It was a tight game until Paul Pogba had the chance to give United the lead when he was brought down in the area.

The French midfielder, however, failed to convert from the penalty spot, which means he has missed penalties against Everton, Southampton, Burnley and Wolves in the last year.

Wolves held on for a point as United remain unbeaten in their first two games.
