In his first major decision as Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has opted to drop goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for this afternoon's game against Celta Vigo in favour of Keylor Navas.

Zidane is wasting no time in changing things around at the Bernabeu, with Marco Asensio and Isco making the starting XI on Saturday afternoon.

Gareth Bale also makes the team, while out of favour left-back Marcelo is also included.

Zidane made his intentions clear ahead of kick-off, speaking about the likes of Isco and Marcelo in his post match press conference:

"Isco and Marcelo are both ready to play, they want to play and we will see them play," he said.

"Marcelo has not played much, that is true, but he is a professional and he has been very good in season. We have to respect everything the previous coach did, but Marcelo, in my eyes, is happy and eager to play, so I am happy with this.

"I do not want to discuss the individual season of Gareth Bale, but in these 11 remaining games I will count on him as I do with everyone, and like the others he is ready to play.

"I am now focused on finishing the season well, I am not concerned about which players will continue with us or others who have come in, we need to focus on results.

We want to think positively and defeat Celta tomorrow, I do not want to think about anything else, but the players are keen to show what they are worth."
