Michy Batshuayi has taken to Twitter to clear up reports that he was laughing at Alvaro Morata's penalty miss yesterday.
The Spaniard took Chelsea's third spot-kick in the 4-1 shootout loss yesterday and dragged his effort narrowly wide - being trolled relentlessly on Twitter in the process.
And a clip of his teammate Batshuayi appearing to have a little giggle behind his back emerged online.
Batshuayi was never going to keep quiet about it and today he's taken to Twitter, where he's incredibly active and always comes up with the goods, to respond and deny the claims.
"Wow lol some people really believe I laughed at my teammate and/or us losing ? Sorry to disappoint but I wasn't," he wrote.
And he's also been replying to fans and Twitter accounts:
Batshuayi clearly looked to be having a bit of a chuckle behind Morata, and appeared to do his best to stop his fellow striker seeing his little smirk.

However, it has been noted that the Belgium international was off the pitch when Morata took his penalty as he had been replaced by Chelsea's record signing. The actual clip appears to have come from the trophy presentation at the end of the game.
