Lionel Messi might not be able to play in the Champions League game for Barcelona against Inter tonight but the GOAT has still been able to be at the Camp Nou with his kid.

On Saturday night football got the rarest and most disappointing of sights, Lionel Messi having to be substituted due to injury. The Argentina forward isn't one to spend much time not on the pitch but his arm injury caused him to come off.

It led to the devastating news that he won't be available for this weekend's Clasico against Real Madrid, the game that could be Julen Lopetegui's last in charge at the Bernabeu.

The injury also means that the five time Ballon d'Or winner is missing from tonight's Champions League game against Inter at the Camp Nou.

However the world's greatest still turned up to support his side. Sat in his sling the Argentina forward was with his son Thiago.

It's fair to say the quality of the sling, which looks like a self made temporary solution he came up with after injuring himself playing in the park with his mates, has come under some attention:

Barca might not be needing their best player on the pitch right now but they'd still rather have him on the pitch now and on Sunday.

Maybe invest more on the first aid supplies and less on wages lads and you might get him back quicker.
