Jose Mourinho has never been the sort of manager to receive a warm welcome from opposition fans... and Thursday night's Manchester derby proved no different.
Mourinho's side travelled to the Etihad in what was being considered a must-win game for both sides, as United and City both fight it out for the Champions League places.

And with that in mind, it was quite a feisty contest, with Nicolas Otamendi getting an early albeit mis-timed tackle in on United forward Marcus Rashford - much to Mourinho's displeasure.
The City fans were of course quick to pick up on the Special One's reaction to the Otamendi challenge and broke out in a chant of "f*ck off Mourinho".
However, this isn't the ex-Chelsea boss' first rodeo and he reacted coolly with a cheeky wave to the City faithful:
Later on Marouane Fellaini's 'headbutt' on Sergio Aguero stole all the headlines in a match that was short of much excitement, hardly surprising for a Mourinho game of such importance away from home.

The mood of the City fans was hardly improved by their side's inability to turn dominance in the match into a win as Gabriel Jesus' offside header and Sergio Aguero's skewed late effort was the closest they got.
After the match Mourinho was accepting of the red card Fellaini got but it didn't mean he was impressed by it.
The draw leaves United one point behind City in the race for fourth.
