Gary Lineker's Tweet from last summer about N'Golo Kante has brilliantly come to fruition.

Leicester City gave up their title as English champions following Chelsea's incredible Premier League season.

Antonio Conte's charges finally clinched the title last Friday night as they beat West Brom courtesy of an unlikely match winner; Michy Batshuayi.

Chelsea were then given a Champion homecoming on Monday night as they thrilled the Stamford Bridge faithfuls with a 4-3 win against Watford.

While the likes of Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and David Luiz, to name but a few, have produced heroics, N'Golo Kante's contribution has possibly been the most telling.

The diminutive Frenchman helped the Foxes to a truly remarkable league victory last season, and their disappointing campaign this time around proves the importance of Kante.

And he's now replicated the feat at the King Power by becoming a two-time Premier League champion.

After he swapped Leicester for Chelsea, Lineker was sad to see the back of the midfielder while tabbing Chelsea to win the title.

10 months on from that Tweet, Chelsea are crowed Premier League champions with Kante winning back-to-back winners medal with two different sides.
