Neymar's move from Barcelona to PSG was the biggest transfer in sometime, perhaps only Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Real Madrid has rivaled it in recent times. The only way to top that would be Lionel Messi moving, but that won't happen any time soon- right?
It's not often one of the world's biggest and best talents moves and even Manchester United signing Paul Pogba wasn't quite as big as Neymar's record destroying transfer earlier this summer.
The Brazilian has left a huge gap at the Camp Nou that Ernesto Valverde is trying to plug with Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho but it's not going to be that easy to catch up with Real Madrid based on the recent Supercopa.

Of course if they're to have any chance of competing this season they need Lionel Messi to be on top form. Right now though the only talk about the Argentine superstar is the lack of his signature on his new contract.
And today the five time Ballon d'Or winner has got fans of Manchester City far too excited for their own good on a Saturday morning as fans noticed Messi had followed their team on Instagram:
It still seems somewhat unlikely however Messi has reportedly been interested in signing for the Premier League club before, they are one of the few clubs on earth who could afford him and he could be interested in a reunion with Pep Guardiola.

The fact he hasn't signed a new deal yet and Sheikh Mansour claimed the club were going to make a huge signing just adds to the intrigue.
