From the dreaded half and half scarf to those fans who support 14 clubs, modern day football never fails to make you cringe on a daily basis.

In a decision that has since received a mixed response, Championship side Reading have named their own supporters as a substitute against Leeds United tonight.

Leeds United writer Phil Hay posted the following teamsheet on Twitter and well, a new number 13 appeared at the bottom of Reading's line-up.

What do you think of this, folks?

Reading have lost one of their last nine home league matches against Leeds, but with the rallying Reading fans on their side, who knows what might happen at the Madejski Stadium tonight?

Marcelo Bielsa's side will go top of the Championship table on Tuesday if they can beat Jose Manuel Gomes' side, as Norwich don't play until Saturday against Rotherham.

Leeds have impressed for the majority of this season, while Reading have struggled at the wrong end of the table.
