Arsenal Fans Lose Their Sh*t After What Arsene Wenger Has Just Said

Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans are resigned to losing both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil with their contracts up at the end of the season.

Though the prospect of the pair of attacking talents leaving in January, with no replacements coming the other way has sent the Arsenal faithfuls - as well as social media - into meltdown.

Sanchez and Ozil are available on a free in the summer with neither player committing their future to the Emirates. They've been embroiled in a contract saga with their reported demands not being met.

While Wenger remains hopeful they will stay at the club, he's also very aware that Sanchez and Ozil could leave once the transfer window reopens in January.

When asked if their was a deadline to agreeing a contract extension, Wenger said via Sky Sports: "No, not at the moment."

Before suggesting they could depart in January: "Once you are in our kind of situation, we have envisaged every solution yes. It's possible."

Naturally, Arsenal fans reacted and they weren't happy with the latest development:

Sanchez and Ozil continue to be linked with a move away from North London with both Manchester clubs believed to be keen on talking business.

The Chilean is attracting plenty of interest from his former boss Pep Guardiola, while United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly keeping tabs on his ex-Real Madrid star.
