What Jose Mourinho Shouted At Tv Cameras Following Manchester United Comeback

The Manchester United manager may have saved his job after one of the great Premier League comebacks against Newcastle United on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho was under huge pressure before Manchester United's game with Newcastle United, never mind when they were 2-0 down, so it's no surprise he shouted with relief after the final whistle.

On Friday night there were reports that no matter what happened with Manchester United this weekend it was going to result in Jose Mourinho losing his job. It had me expecting that the Red Devils would win 5-0 and Mourinho would be living it large in his smug way post match.

Instead within 10 minutes the Red Devils found themselves 2-0 down against Newcastle United and Mourinho faced the possibility of a loss against arch nemesis Rafa Benitez being his final match in charge at Old Trafford.

The Old Trafford side though were inspired in the second half and goals from Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and under pressure Alexis Sanchez led to a dramatic turnaround as the 13 time Premier League champions scored three in 20 minutes to take a win.

It might not be the end of Mourinho's problems but it certainly lifted some clouds hovering precariously over his head and he showed relief and frustration in equal measure.

At full time he was seen screaming at TV cameras and, according to the Daily Mail, he was spotted by fans shouting, 'fodas filhos de puta,' or ''f**k off sons of a b**ch,' in French.

Fans at Old Trafford have generally stood by the manager, and they chanted his name loudly as the comeback took place, so it's very likely the words were directed at the press.

As well as the rumours that he'd be sacked there has been plenty of criticism of the former Real Madrid boss and after the match he complained at the treatment he and the players had received saying, "It is the first time I see man-hunting. I can cope with it.

"I can live with it. Some of the boys, in spite of them not being the man that is hunted, they are not coping well with it."

Mourinho further joked that the rain in London would be his fault as would the negotiations for Brexit failing.

It was a day where he could be happy with his substitutions though with Mata getting the first and Sanchez getting the winner whilst the decision to move Paul Pogba deeper certainly worked as the Frenchman ran the game in the second half.

Could Saturday's result save Mourinho's career?
