Jamie Carragher is set to return to our screens and reunite with Gary Neville on Monday Night Football after Sky Sports decided to bring him back following his misdemeanour in March.

During the World Cup there's been lots of debate and discussion about pundits and commentators alike. From the delights of Mark Lawrenson to the enthusiasm of Ally McCoist, there's been lots of discussion about who to love and hate.

In the studio Slaven Bilic has hated everything about being on television including talking about matches that aren't to do with Croatia and being filmed when Croatia were playing, weird for a man on television paid to talk about football.

Phil Neville is, as ever, doing his best to be 60% as good as anything he does as brother Gary, although his managerial career may well end up being better so fair play Phil.

Talking of the former Valencia boss he is of course bossing punditry as he always does for Sky Sports, especially on Monday Night Football and what a way to segway into today's news.

According to the Mail, Jamie Carragher is set to return to the show, and Sky Sports as a pundit in general, after he was suspended by the company for spitting at a fan who goaded him back in March.

The incident came after Manchester United's 2-1 win over Liverpool with Carragher in the car and the fan winding his window down to goad the former Liverpool defender over the result.

Carragher's response was to spit from his window and he hit the driver's 14 year old daughter, leading to his suspension from Sky Sports.

That suspension is now set to be lifted although it is believed that the 40 year old is on a final warning from the company.

A Sky spokesman told the Mail, "We've spoken to Jamie and reminded him of the standards we expect at Sky Sports. He has shown remorse, is hugely apologetic for the offence he caused and has taken the appropriate steps to make sure that the incident will not be repeated."

We look forward to seeing Carra back in the studio with G-Nev!
