Juan Mata has lit up the Premier League ever since he arrived from Spain. The Manchester United midfielder has played with some extremely good players in his time and revealed who he thinks is the best.

You can't be Player of the Season twice at Chelsea and not be a very good player. Even more than that Juan Mata might be the one part of David Moyes time at Old Trafford that Manchester United fans can forgive.

The Spaniard was expected to be the first player out the door when Jose Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal considering it was the Portuguese manager who sold the player to United in the first place but he has continued to flourish.

With impressive performances, a love for Manchester, a weekly blog and a promise to donate a guaranteed 1% of his wages to charity every week there's no wonder he's loved by everyone.

However Mata might upset some of his colleagues by revealing, in an interview with the Guardian, that none of them is the best player he's ever played with. Then again they might forgive him when they find out it's Andres Iniesta:

"If I consider the best footballer I played with, I look at someone that was not particularly quick, strong or tall. Iniesta. When we played for Spain he always passes the ball to you in the right moment.

"He always makes you better. It was the same with Zidane. His individual qualities were incredible. When I was in Real Madrid reserves I used to train with Zidane, Ronaldo, Beckham, Raul. All great players but Zidane made everyone look better."

Picking Iniesta is hardly a controversial choice considering how good the Barcelona midfielder has been throughout his career and even the comparison with Zidane is difficult to argue with.

It shows how good a career the 29 year old has had up to now himself considering he could have picked numerous players from the likes of Eden Hazard, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Frank Lampard, Xavi and Michael Carrick to name but a few.

There aren't many players who have played alongside the quality that Juan Mata can boast!
