It's easy to spend all your money when you get a normal wage, you know once your rent, bills and food is covered. But what about if you get back as much as a footballer, how do you spend your millions? What about on a football team?

There's a joke about the easiest way to become a millionaire is by starting out as a billionaire and then buying a football team, they aren't usually the most profitable of businesses it's fair to say.

But in recent years there's been a bit of a trend for footballers to invest some money in a team once they've hung up their boots. Of course the best example of this happening is the infamous 'Class of 92' investing in non-league Salford FC.

They aren't the only ones though and David Beckham, also a member of that class but not an owner of the club in England, Didier Drogba have all invested their money in teams on the other side of the Atlantic.

And they've now been joined by Eden Hazard, Demba Ba, Yohan Cabaye and Moussa Sow, as reported by the Mirror. The four players have bought a stake in as yet unnamed club in San Diego who will start in the North American Soccer League in March.

Director of Football, for the as yet managerless club, Ricardo Campos said, "Demba, Eden, Moussa and Yohan were already friends. They shared the idea with each other and decided to do it.

"They were looking for the right place and the US is a very easy target nowadays. San Diego was just standing out, as far as they concerned.

Campos revealed the level of their involvement adding, "We share everything that's happening. They're fully involved with all the key decisions. Most importantly, they're involved with the basics of the team - what they want the club to be like. They want to build a bridge for young players to become professionals."

The Padres, a baseball team, are San Diego's most famous sports team but soon they'll have one of the biggest players in the world as their football team's part owner, exciting times.
