No sports star in the world can charge more for an Instagram post than Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Anyone wanting Cristiano Ronaldo to post an ad on his Instagram page will have to pay a lot of money, with Hopper HQ revealing the Portuguese superstar leads the way and can charge up to £784,000, beating Neymar into second place on just £580,000.

It's no surprise really that the former Real Madrid star is so far ahead of his 'rivals' considering that he has so many more followers on the social media platform.
The 34-year-old has a whopping 176,709,627 followers on 'Insta' in comparison to Lionel Messi's 126,450,038 followers, although the Argentinian isn't in second place on the money list.
The top ten is absolutely dominated by footballers with David Beckham following the top three and NBA star LeBron James the highest non footballer in the list, charging up to £219k per post.
Ronaldo isn't just high on the list of sports stars, the five time Ballon d'Or winner is third on the list, only behind Kylie Jenner and Ariana Grande, on the overall list.

As well as Beckham in the top five there's further proof that no longer being an active footballer doesn't hamper your earning ability.
Former Brazil star Ronaldinho comes in at number six on the list, earning £206,000 per post on social media.
Interestingly Gareth Bale's protracted and messy departure from Real Madrid doesn't seem to have dented his earning power, even though he's barely been a first teamer at the Bernabeu in the last couple of years.
The Welshman can charge people £175,000 to post, which is roughly 10 minutes of his wages if he makes the jump to the Chinese Super League.

In January Ronaldo became the first person to reach 150 million followers on Instagram and only Ariana Grande has joined him on the landmark since.
