It's standard to be starstruck if you're in the presence of greatness like Lionel Messi but this young lad's reaction was even beyond that.
Barcelona posted a video of Messi stopping for fans at the airport after the away win over Valladolid and the lucky youngster burst into tears at seeing his idol.
He not only got two shirts signed by the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, but also received a ruffle of the hair and a picture to capture the moment he met the man many believe to be the greatest to ever play the sport.
It's just beautiful stuff really. So many fans were waiting to get Messi's autograph but it meant so much to the little lad and we're so chuffed his dreams were made. The embrace with his father afterwards says everything about the whole thing.
Also, props to Messi for giving the kid a moment that will stick with him for the rest of his life - especially with security hurrying him along.
But we've been accustomed to seeing this type of gesture from the Argentine star and he proved his class in April. One young fan was seen running towards the Messi as he went to get on the team bus, only to be stopped by security.
That didn't stop Messi signing the child's shirt though, he quickly let security know it was OK before penning his autograph on the kid's Barcelona shirt.
Messi's Barca played on an utterly dreadful playing surface in Saturday's trip to Valladolid but managed to come away with a 1-0 win, Ousmane Dembele notching the solitary goal.
