'Yer Da' Kevin Ellison Responds To Having 35 Pace On FIFA 19

He's not happy...

Veteran Morecambe winger Kevin Ellison has responded after his FIFA card became a bit of meme.

Ellison is approaching 40 years of age and so his legs can't do what they used to be able to when he was in his younger years, but he's still annoyed of the pace rating EA Sports have given him.

The former Chester City man has been marked 35 for his combination of sprint speed and acceleration and he is one of the slowest players on the game as a result.

Someone packed the man now being known as 'Yer da' in an Ultimate Team pack and after he became a bit of a viral sensation, Ellison has now responded and he's not best pleased.

Back in FIFA 11, Ellison had 64 pace but it's gradually declined over the years and now he's very much lacking in pace on the game. Surely he'll get an upgrade though, considering his "solicitor is on the matter".

It's not all bad for the oldies on this year's FIFA, though. 40-year old Argentine Pablo Guinazu has seen a remarkable improvement in his stats and overall rating this year.

Clearly, EA Sports think he's still going strong and have given him a quite remarkable boost on the upcoming game. On FIFA 18, the 13-time capped Argentina international was a 64-rated CDM going for 200 coins but fast forward a year and he's now climbed a massive 11 marks to 75.
