We all know Martin Tyler best for being screaming "AND IT'S LIVE!" whenever there's a big game on Sky Sports - or constantly telling Alan Smith how good he was at heading the ball on the FIFA games.

But today, football fans will see him in a different role as he will swap the commentary box for the dug-out in Woking's visit of Watford.

Many people have speculated about which team Tyler supports but the 73-year old has actually been a fan of Woking since he was eight years of age.

And having been involved in clubs such as Walton & Hersham, Kingstonian and Hampton & Richmond Borough Football Club, he now finds himself volunteering as Woking's assistant manager despite not having any coaching badges.

Tyler joined his beloved club back in May alongside manager Alan Dawson, who he worked with at Walton & Hersham to Kingstonian and Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Today, his beloved club will host a Premier League side in a FA Cup third round tie live on BT Sport and are guaranteed £150,000 in TV revenue.

But while he is a believer in the magic of the FA Cup, he is desperate for the team to return to the top-tier of Non-League courtesy of promotion from the National League South.

"Woking have a pretty good record in the FA Cup, and maybe some of that history has rubbed off on this new crop of players," Tyler told The Non League Paper.

"The cup run is wonderful, but the main aim is to get this club back into the National League. That is where we feel the club belongs."

Let's hope Tyler gets to watch it and drink it in today...
