Despite continued reports linking Real Madrid with David De Gea, Thibaut Courtois, among others, Zinedine Zidane insists he isn't after a keeper. But it appears there's a reason why he refuses to sign another stopper.

Zidane's options consists of Keylor Navas, who's No.1, and Kiko Casilla, the back-up.

However, the Costa Rica international remains on the bad side of the Real Madrid faithfuls who continue to heavily criticise him for his performances between the sticks.

And with president Florentino Perez wanting to sign 'Galactico's', he's reportedly eyeing up a marque keeper.

The Manchester United and Chelsea keepers have been subject to intense transfer speculation, with reports claiming Real Madrid are lining up a huge bid to lure them back to the Spanish capital.

But Zidane is adamant a new keeper is not needed. Why?

Well, it's suggested that Zidane is holding back from signing a new keeper because he believes it could disrupt the development of his son, Luca, who is a keeper, according to Spanish outlet Sport.

And more recently, Real Madrid have been linked with Athletic Bilbao starlet Kepa Arrizabalaga. When quizzed about the transfer, Zidane said; "I don't need any goalkeeper."

Luca, 19, is the clubs third choice keeper but he hasn't done himself any favours by committing blunders for the youth side.

Will Luca break into the fold? Or will the club land a high-profile keeper in the summer? Let us know what you think.
