Jose Mourinho has assessed Paul Pogba's outing against Belgium in the World Cup semi-final.
France booked a spot in the World Cup final after beating Belgium 1-0. While the goal came through an unlikely source, there was nothing surprising about 'Les Bleus' best performers.
Raphael Varane defended heroically not to mention Pogba who starred in the middle of the park.

"They tried to control the game which they did with a fantastic performance by Varane and a very good performance by Pogba," the Manchester United manager said.
Pogba's role in the engine room of the pitch prompted praise from Mourinho who labeled him 'mature' for his composed showing.
"Pogba was mature, he played with great maturity. When he had to hold position and to keep control of the game he did."
The Portuguese boss also explains how he had more freedom following the introduction of Steven Nzonzi in the second-half.

"When (France boss) Deschamps took off (Olivier) Giroud to bring on (Steven) Nzonzi then Pogba had more freedom but freedom not to do silly things. Freedom to keep the ball away from the dangerous areas."
Mourinho added: "To keep the ball, to assist (Antoine) Griezmann for a great chance. He was very, very mature."
