Goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson, Oumar Niasse and Tom Davies ensured the victory for the Toffees.
And with the points sealed, Sam Allardyce drafted on his French midfielder for the remaining 10 minutes though to the frustration of the home fans who booed his introduction.

Following the game, Allardyce was surprised of the reaction from the Goodison faithfuls.

"I was surprised. Very surprised, I've not heard it before, so I was a little surprised," he said.
'Big Sam' added: "He's a very important part of the squad this year.
"Lots of players haven't played up to their potential that we know they've got this season but we're starting to get better at home. It's away from home that we've had problems.
