The ongoing Antoine Griezmann saga has just escalated after the Atletico Madrid striker appeared in an advert that clearly shows him receiving a phone call from 'Jose'.
Whether 'Jose' is actually Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho remains unclear, but people are convinced that the scene is linked with the growing transfer debacle.
In Huawei's latest advert, you can clearly see the France international reject a call from 'Jose'. What are the chances?
It might be just a coincidence, but Twitter is currently over analysing the advert on a minute-by-minute basis.
Here's the ad (at 1:04, he receives the call)
As you can imagine, Twitter lost it:
Back in July, Paul Pogba teased Manchester United fans when he appeared in an Adidas advert.
Pogba joined Stormzy in a video where he looks at headlines about himself. The video then showed a billboard with the United crest and the word blah, which was used by agent Raiola.
It was clearly a huge tease by Adidas and Manchester United, but could Griezmann's latest advert be another cryptic message?
On the subject of Pogba and Griezmann, the Manchester United midfielder celebrated the Europa League win in Stockholm in an Instagram live video.
During the video, he had a very interesting caption and impersonated Antoine Griezmann's trademark celebration.
