Kevin De Bruyne and Harry Maguire not only swapped shirts but also exchanged a few words.

The runaway Premier League leaders extended the gap at the top following an emphatic 5-1 victory over Leicester City on late Saturday afternoon.

De Bruyne starred for Pep Guardiola's side.

He created THREE goals including the opening and two of Sergio Aguero's strikes.

His heroics put him on course to be named 'The Player of the Season'. So, it's only natural that opposition players want his shirt after the game.

Pep Guardiola spoke about De Bruyne's brilliance, saying he needs to win silverware to be considered the best.

"To be a contender, you have to win [the Champions League], and be there in the latter stages," he said.

"But how he played against Leicester it is hard to find better in Europe.

"It is not just one game, it is all season and every three days that he is playing that way.

The 26-year-old assist king said: "I do everything to win titles with the team. What happens after is an extra.

"I am very pleased with the way everything is going for me. The way the team is playing makes it easier for me and for them. At the end, if you get an individual honour it is beautiful.

Meanwhile, Maguire is reportedly a transfer target for Manchester City.

The club are believed to be keen on the England defender despite shelling out £57 million for Aymeric Laporte in January.

Maguire, 24, is also attracting interest from Manchester United. Jose Mourinho is keen on bolstering his defence once the summer market reopens.
