Well tonight, Alexis Sanchez has done his best to try and outdo the Brazilian legend.
Maybe it's something the pair learned during their respective spells at the Camp Nou, with Rivaldo clutching his head as he dropped to the turf from Hakan Unsal's harmless thigh high pass and Sanchez taking several steps after Christian Fuchs' throw in struck him on the shoulder, before promptly flopping to the floor in a fashion usually reserved for some poor prick who got on the wrong side of Tony Soprano.

Ace, isn't it? Can you really begrudge any footballer an opportunity to make themselves look this foolish in a desperate attempt to get an opponent booked or sent off? Isn't that one of the few remaining glories left in the beautiful game?
Obviously not everyone was as thrilled with the Chilean's actions.
Probably worth a new £300,000 per week contract on its own, to be fair.
